Grace Bio
Grace is a naturally extroverted “people person”, who has used this quality (along with empathy) to build community around her all her life in order to create an environment which would help her rise above the obstacles she had to navigate growing up. She is now determined to use those same skills to make a career out of building up civic power in socioeconomically disadvantaged communities of color within NYC and beyond.
Grace is fiercely passionate about working with incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people, as well as those affected by poverty and abuse. She understands from personal experience the significant burden of trauma which these life circumstances leave behind, and thus she is a firm believer in second chances and rehabilitation without exceptions - because no one is defined by their worst moments in life, and no one is beyond redemption.
